Dear Subscribers - if only G.K. Chesterton (pray for the cause of his canonization) had become a father, we should probably have several wise and witty articles on Mother’s Day. He certainly had several wise and witty things to say about mothers but, disinterred from my bookshelves, here is one of his essays on the ever-relevant topic of ‘Woman’.
